Four musicians with roots in Black music came together at a jam session to form ITADAKI. Influenced by R&B and gospel, they are a hungry group striving for a tasteful sound, grounded in the unique groove each member contributes. ### FiJA A singer-songwriter whose soulful voice has earned recognition from musicians both in Japan and abroad. In recent years she has served as vocalist for the afrobeats band aTak, and in May 2025 was featured on "Bad Bye" from Takuya Kuroda's album *EVERYDAY*. In July 2025 she released her debut solo album *Fragile Thing*, produced by LA- and Tokyo-based bassist/producer Yuki "Lin" Hayashi, and released via Takuya Kuroda's aTak Records. ### パジャマで海なんかいかない (PAJAUMI) Launched in 2019 as a solo project by keyboardist/composer Kazuhiro Bessho, relaunched in 2020. Evolved in 2021 into a five-piece with FiJA (vo.), Chloe (vo.), Haruna (ba.), and Seiya (dr.). Rooted in jazz, neo-soul, and R&B, with virtuosic musicianship, an adventurous sensibility, and twin vocals weaving between Japanese and English. Released singles via FRIENDSHIP. and the debut album *Trip* in September 2022; hosted PAJAMA PARTY at Toyosu PIT and a special session at Marunouchi COTTON CLUB. In 2024 the band format concluded; the project relaunched as Kazuhiro Bessho's solo endeavor, now session-based and expanding into film/television scoring. ## Location Hare Mame, Daikanyama — https://maps.app.goo.gl/sh9vzbCsa1LnW73N6
