For this edition, we welcome Tokyo-based Forró community **"Forró de Zé"** to bring the spirit of Brazil's traditional celebration, **Festa Junina**, into the night. Festa Junina is a beloved Brazilian festival celebrated throughout June, known for its colourful decorations, music, dancing, and joyful sense of community. There will be time for everyone to enjoy Forró, a traditional partner dance from northeastern Brazil. Whether you are a complete beginner or experienced dancer, the night is designed to be warm, open, and welcoming. Live music will be led by **naantoka**, a Tokyo-based new jazz and funk band influenced by retro Bollywood sounds. Their improvisational style and groove-driven performance blend beautifully with the festive energy of Festa Junina. ## Artist info ### naantoka Supra (Gu, samples, syn) / Takumi (Dr) / Oto (Trumpet) / Shun (Sax). A nu-jazz and funk band with retro Bollywood influences, based in Tokyo. Performances are largely improvised — no two gigs are ever the same. Latest single "Fun Chase" is out now on all platforms (https://found.ee/fnchse). ### Forró de Zé A Tokyo-based Brazilian forró dance community centered around movement, music, and connection. Led by Brazilian dancer and instructor Nando alongside his partner Yuki, the group hosts weekly lessons every other Monday in Mejiro and every Wednesday at JP Bar in Roppongi, welcoming complete beginners to experienced dancers. ## About the venue ### HAVANA 1950 A bar lounge that combines music, food, culture, and art from around the world. Based on Havana, Cuba in the 1950s — a hotspot for significant figures including the wealthy and mafia bosses.
