Abstract What makes a live house special? After watching a fellow band's performance at Yokohama's Baysis, I found myself thinking about something that's difficult to explain. It's not just the sound system or the musicians. It's the invisible history embedded in the walls—the sweat, the tears, the countless performances that somehow become part of every note played there. As an independent musician who's spent years trying to build an audience without chasing trends or algorithms, I sometimes wonder whether I'm doing things the hard way. But nights like this remind me why I keep going. This is a diary about live music, finding your own path, and the rare places where people can simply relax, connect, and feel alive again. And, of course, it's also about why I'm looking forward to stepping onto the same stage with my own band on July 30. Please read it at the link above.
